Once an esteemed writer asked me if I’m a spy, sitting at Veselka. The title of a cool teacher’s book, I Want to Show You More is also befitting. EMK is the advance-planner of a work; anything spied upon is first seen as the makings of a story. Sometimes I read from the story at an open-mic.

EMK is a name I’ve made for myself whose backstory spans NYC, Mexico City, Cairo, São Paulo and Tennessee. It started as minor graffiti–stickers–co-designed with artist friends: Adham Bakry (Egypt), Gustavo Marcasse (Brazil), and Jakub Szczęsny (Poland). Besides sticking stickers, EMK writes and performs interventions.

I of course ‘want to show more’, and spy on other artists all the time. Stay tuned for what we make of it … #Eu❤️Cazuza !!!
